A resort for everyone
With 51 ski slopes, Hemsedal Skistar is the second largest ski resort in Norway. Here you can ski continuously for 6 kilometers from top to bottom. There are slopes adapted to all levels for both children and adults. At the peaks, you'll find the larger parks, Snow Park red and Snow Park blue, with jumps, rails, and boxes.
Below, you'll find "Fun Ride" with jumps, moguls, and a roundabout built to suit everyone, from young children to experienced riders.
The children's area is at the bottom of the slope. Here you'll find Valle the snowman's ski land with a mini park featuring small jumps and other cool elements for children.

World's largest indoor après-ski
Stavkroa is reputed to be the world's largest après-ski with its four different themed rooms; Après-ski, Mez(VIP), Kitchen Bar, and Turbo Stallen. The building is inspired by Norwegian stave churches with 20-meter-high ceilings and state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. The age limit at Stavkroa is 20 years. Doors open at 5 PM. On weekdays, there's no entrance fee. If you're attending an event, you can check their calendar here and purchase tickets.
Live après-ski at Skistua
From early January through Easter, there's après-ski every week from Wednesday to Saturday at Skistua in Hemsedal. On weekends throughout the season, they feature live performances by cover bands. Age limits are 18 and 20 years, varying by event.
Family après-ski at Solstua
Hemsedal also offers après-ski, adapted for children. At Solstua, you can bring the whole family for a delicious lunch with pleasant music on weekends for children and adults. There are also various events to participate in.

Transfer bus from Oslo Airport to Hemsedal
We operate a transfer bus in cooperation with Skistar, VY51 Hemsedal, from Gardermoen allowing you to go straight from your flight to the bus that takes you to the mountains! Note that this bus only runs when booked, so you must purchase tickets 24 hours before departure.
This year's transfer bus service starts Sunday, December 22, 2024, and runs through Sunday, April 27, 2025. The transfer bus has two departures in both directions every Sunday. If you buy tickets at vybuss.no, you get a discount on round-trip tickets.
Express bus from Oslo and Førde
Vy express VY170 runs between Oslo–Førde and stops in Hemsedal, with some departures also from Oslo Airport. Check the Vy app or vy.no to see which departures this applies to. The bus has daily departures year-round. On the bus, you have wireless network, power outlets, comfortable and modern seats, toilet, and air conditioning.
Remember that if you're traveling from Oslo, there's a 40-minute break at Gol before arriving in Hemsedal, as the bus driver needs to rest on the long route. Maybe you need to stretch your legs too? During the Christmas and New Year period, there will be more departures between Oslo–Hemsedal and Hemsedal–Oslo, and these will not have the 40-minute break at Gol.
