Vy operates trains to the airports in Oslo and Sandefjord (Torp) – and buses to the airports in Oslo and Ålesund. We offer short journey times, frequent departures and good prices.

Travel guarantee for journeys to Torp, Gardermoen and Ålesund airport
If you travel with Vy to Torp, Gardermoen or Ålesund airport, you can be sure that we will do our best to get you there safely and quickly. Should you still experience that your train is delayed arriving at the airport, causing you to miss your flight, Vy’s travel guarantee covers the cost of a new flight ticket.
Travel guarantee when you take the train
- At least 30 minutes late: The train must be at least 30 minutes late.
- Allow sufficient time: You must also take a train that allows you to be at the airport at least 30 minutes before check-in closes.
- The refund will cover: New flight ticket and other expenses you may have because you have to take a later flight.

Travel guarantee when you take the bus
- Allow plenty of time: You must allow at least 60 minutes in addition to the airline check-in time to be able to claim a refund.
- The refund covers: Costs for alternative transportation or other expenses incurred as a result of a missed flight connection.

Airport trains
Travellers to Oslo Airport can use either the R10/R11 Regional Train or the R12 Local Train. The estimated travel time between the airport and central Oslo is 23 minutes.
On weekdays there are over 60 departures every day, and the journey from Oslo S to Oslo Airport is estimated to take only 23 minutes.
- On weekdays, the first departure from Oslo is at 04:54 and the last departure at 00:24.
- On Saturday and Sunday, the first departure from Oslo is at 06:54 and the last departure at 00:24.
- There may be other times during holidays and special days.

With more than 20 departures a day, we will take you from Oslo to Torp Airport by train (R11) and shuttle bus (shown as bus S174 in the journey planner) in 1 hour and 45 minutes. The shuttle bus from the station to the airport is not included in your train ticket, so remember to also buy the bus ticket.
NB! The shuttle bus service to/from the terminal does not meet all arriving and departing trains. It operates during the following hours:
- Monday–Friday 04:43–01:15
- Saturday 05:43–23:16
- Sunday 06:43–201:15
If there is no shuttle bus service corresponding to your train times, remember to arrange transport between the station and the airport in another way. The road isn’t suitable for pedestrians as there is no pavement.
Airport buses
The Flybussen FB11 airport bus service operates between Fredrikstad–Sarpsborg–Oslo Airport via Ryen and Manglerud, with frequent departures every day of the week. The bus stops right outside the airport terminal.
Please note that tickets must be purchased in advance.
Family discount
You can now get a family discount on the FB11 airport bus. With the family discount, up to four children under 18 years old can travel for free, along with two adults who have purchased a regular adult ticket. The same applies for up to two children under 18 years old travelling with one adult with a regular adult ticket.
To get the family discount, you must use the promotional code FAMILIE in the journey planner on vy.no or in the Vy app.
Season ticket and top-up travel card
FB65 runs to and from the airport. The travel time from Ålesund (Moa trafikkterminal) to Ålesund lufthavn (Vigra) is 45 minutes.
The bus runs via Campus Ålesund, Skateflukaia and Ålesund bus station.
The VY123 service stops at both the terminal at Oslo Airport and Gardermoen Næringspark when travelling from Elverum. Transfer to the Vy shuttle S22 service at Gardermoen Næringspark to get to Oslo Airport.
All departures of the VY146 service from Måløy and Ulsteinvik stop at Oslo Airport.
Shuttle services between Oslo Airport and hotels
Vy operates shuttle service routes from Oslo Airport to the hotels near the airport. The shuttle services run 74 times a day. With very frequent services, you never have to wait long.
Shuttle services will be ready to take you to your airport hotel or parking when you land at Oslo Airport. The shuttle service stops at Oslo Airport are on the lower level.
The Vy shuttle S22 service’s first departure from Quality Hotel is at 04:32 and from Oslo Airport at 04:55. The last departure from Oslo Airport is at 23:55.
