Questions and answers about Rest
Yes, each compartment has its own door and can be closed. The door cannot be locked though so make sure you do not leave valuables unattended in the compartment while moving about the train during your journey.
Yes, the compartments have some space for some luggage below the two bottom berths and on the rack above the door. Luggage can also be stored in the common luggage spaces near the compartments, at your own risk.
During the initial phase of this service we are only offering entire Rest compartments and not single berths because we want to highlight the service for smaller groups travelling together and test this segment of the market. A number of other offers are currently available for passengers travelling alone and elsewhere on the train.
When you purchase a Rest ticket you automatically book the entire compartment and all six places. You are free to choose whether you want to travel with others and you can be joined by up to five other passengers in the same compartment.
