How do I buy a ticket if I have a wheelchair / walker?

The Bergen Line

Self-service booking of a wheelchair space is now possible in the Vy app and at vy.no for journeys between stations where we can load/unload a wheelchair on/off the train (Bergen, Voss, Geilo, Gol, Hønefoss, Asker and Oslo S). If you are travelling between other stations on the Bergen/Voss Line, you must book via a staffed station or call the customer centre on 61 05 19 10⁠External link.

Local and regional trains

On train routes without seat reservation, you do not reserve a wheelchair space in advance. You buy the ticket you want, without adding a wheelchair as an additional option.

If you want to let us know that you are travelling, you can contact the customer service centre in advance, who will inform the staff onboard that you will be travelling.
