How much does a taxi cost with Vy?
It depends on how far you’re going and which company you choose – you can quickly access prices via the app once you have entered details of your route.
The maximum price is calculated on the basis of a standard tariff applied by the taxi company. We will place a hold on this amount in your account when you confirm the booking.
Once the trip is complete, whichever of the maximum price or the final meter price is lower, this will be deducted from your account. This gives you predictability if you get stuck in traffic or something else unforeseen should occur.
Often you will end up paying less than the maximum price, but the size of the difference varies between the companies. We show information about this together with the offers, given that we have enough historical data for the company.
