Important information about rail traffic in August
Several of the summer works on the railway are finished, but there is still ongoing work that affect our train lines.

West of Oslo: Bane NOR needs more time to carry out technical checks before they can open the new double track in Drammen. This means several of our train lines will be affected until 30 August.
East of Oslo: Bane NOR has started work at Nordstrand and Kolbotn stations, which will affect line L2 Stabekk–Ski throughout the autumn and into next year.
Some lines will have rail replacement buses, while others may have cancelled departures with no alternative transport. In some cases, departure times will change. We recommend giving yourself extra time during this period to make sure you get where you need to be on time.
Which lines and sections are affected?
- Several departures on line L2 Stabekk–Ski must run with one instead of two train sets from Monday, 18 August through Friday, 29 August.
- For passengers traveling to and from Vevelstad, Oppegård, Kolbotn, Holmlia, and Hauketo, the L2X rush-hour services will be cancelled without alternative transport from August 2025 until the summer of 2026. The works will not affect other services on L2 Stabekk–Ski.
