Double track opens in Bergen

Double track means more departures

Good news for all train passengers! On Thursday 2 May, Bane NOR will open the double track into Bergen station. For you, this means a better train service and more frequent departures.

• L4 Bergen–Arna will now depart every 15 minutes on weekdays until 8 pm, and every half hour in the evenings and on weekends.
• F4 Bergen–Oslo (Bergensbanen) will also increase the number of departures from four to six departures each way.
• In addition, there will be minor changes to the schedules of some departures on line R40. The journey search in the Vy app and on vy.no is updated and shows the new departures.
