Arrive in Stavanger stress-free

Stavanger station is conveniently located in the heart of the city, just a short walk from hotels, restaurants and shops. From the station, many of Stavanger’s most popular attractions are within easy walking distance.

Gamle Stavanger (Old Stavanger) is less than a kilometre away and is home to around 170 charming white wooden houses dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. The area also features several galleries, craft shops and museums.

Nearby, you can explore Øvre Holmegate, better known as Fargegaten (the Colour street), famous for its brightly painted wooden buildings in shades of pink, green and turquoise. Here you’ll find colourful independent shops, cosy cafés and lively bars.

If you’re continuing your journey by bus, the bus station is just a short walk away. You can easily book a taxi or purchase public transport tickets in the Vy app.
