Reis is a personal discount for those who use public transport in Oslo and parts of Akershus. You receive Reis automatically when purchasing single tickets within Ruter’s zones.

Smartprice is Vy´s flexible solution for everyday travel. Smartprice is activated for a 30-day period from the first purchased ticket on a given journey. The more you travel, the greater discount you get, and you never pay more than for the 30-day ticket. Thus, you get the best price no matter how much you travel.
Yes, you can. Within the Ruter zones, Ruter determines the ticket types and prices and Ruter has other ticket types than Vy.
No, the discount only applies to single tickets.
The discount on the single ticket is calculated based on your travels over the past 30 days. If you have travelled a lot in the last 30 days, you will receive a higher discount, up to a 40% discount on the single ticket price. If you have not travelled in the last 30 days, there is no discount.
No, the Reis discount is personal and you only get a discount on one ticket at a time.
If you take 1-3 round trips by public transport a week, Reis will usually pay off (around 24 single trips per month). If you travel more frequently than this, a 30-day ticket will be better. Reis will never be cheaper than a 30-day season ticket if you travel frequently.
The price of the first ticket is the normal fare. If you travel frequently, the discount increases. This is calculated based on the number of tickets purchased in the last 30 days.
If you want to buy a ticket that gives you a Reis discount in the Vy app, you must be logged in.
All adult and senior travellers have the opportunity to accumulate a Reis discount on single tickets.

Yes. Commuter parking is provided by Bane NOR at the various stations and can be accessed via the “Bane NOR Parkering” app.
Reis is also available in Ruter and Entur's apps. The discount you accumulate there does not apply in the Vy app, and the companies are responsible for the product in their own apps.
