Visit Kunstsilo in Kristiansand
A truly exceptional art experience
On Odderøya by the sea, in an iconic converted grain silo from 1935, you will find Kunstsilo, the Nordic region’s new meeting place for art, architecture and experiences. Just a short walk from Kristiansand city centre and public transport hubs, it offers both major cultural highlights and moments to pause and unwind.
Opened in 2024 and transformed into a modern museum, Kunstsilo offers experiences for all ages. The venue features three floors of art, family-friendly activities, events, a brasserie, a bar and a museum shop, all brought together in an award-winning building with stunning views of the city and the sea.
Kunstsilo is the home of the Tangen Collection, the world’s largest collection of Nordic modernism, as well as its own permanent collections.
