Hire a private carriage
For groups looking for extra space or a more private travel experience, it is possible to reserve a private carriage, or several adjoining carriages. This is available on request and subject to capacity on the selected train and departure. Get in touch well in advance, and we’ll assess the available options based on your travel requirements and availability.

Hire the café carriage on the Bergen Line
Need additional space for your group? On the Bergen Line, you can hire your very own café carriage. It’s an excellent setting for presentations, workshops, and larger group activities during the journey.

On board the train
Pre-order food and drinks
Groups of more than eight people can pre-order food and drinks. Your order will be delivered directly on board, helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the journey.
This service is available on routes from Oslo to Bergen, Lillehammer, Gjøvik, Skien, and Gothenburg.
Luggage
Each passenger may bring up to 30 kg of luggage, across a maximum of three items. If you need to travel with more than the permitted allowance and are travelling between Oslo and Voss or Bergen, a luggage transport service is available.
Café on the Bergen Line
The on-board café offers a selection of hot and cold meals, snacks, and refreshments. Choose from smoothies, main meals, freshly baked treats, desserts, and a varied drinks menu.
