Accessibility on the bus
People with disabilities have the right to travel on our buses as long as it is practically possible.
Travelling with a wheelchair?
You can purchase a regular ticket at vy.no or in the Vy app. Please inform customer service no later than 36 hours before departure, when travelling with a wheelchair that cannot be carried in the coach luggage hold. This is to ensure that the bus is prepared for a wheelchair. If informed later, we will, as far as practically possible, do what we can to prepare the bus for a wheelchair.
Is your wheelchair too big or heavy?
For safety reasons and due to the physical design of the bus, wheelchairs cannot exceed the following dimensions: Length 120 cm, width 70 cm, height 109 cm and total weight of 300 kg including you.
