How do I retrieve tickets purchased via vy.no?

The easiest way to retrieve tickets purchased online at vy.no is through the Vy app. Tickets may also be downloaded as a PDF.

If you were logged in when buying your ticket via vy.no, you will also be able to find the ticket in the Vy app. This means that you need to be logged in to the same profile in the app as when you bought the ticket at vy.no.

App for iPhone and Android

When you have purchased a ticket online at vy.no, you will receive a receipt with a booking number. When you enter the app, go to ‘Ticket’ and ‘Add ticket’. Enter your booking number here to download your ticket. This is a practical solution if you are purchasing the ticket for someone else, for example for children who do not have their own bank card.

It is the customer’s responsibility to have a valid ticket available when boarding a train. The prerequisite for travelling on Vy trains is that you can show a valid ticket at any ticket control. If you have purchased your ticket via a mobile phone, that phone must be accessible during ticket inspections. Make sure your phone’s battery is sufficiently charged so the device can remain on throughout your journey.

Print your ticket at home — or ride with a digital ticket

By choosing a PDF ticket, you can download the ticket yourself and bring it on board. You can print it out on paper or have it on your mobile phone, tablet or PC. PDF tickets are offered for travels that include at least one seat reservation, and for border-crossing travels between Oslo and Gothenburg.
