What can travel payment cards be used for? You can use travel cards to buy single and season tickets for travel with train operators in Norway, in addition to travel within Ruter’s tariff area.
Can I have tickets on a travel payment card? A travel card can contain up to 8 tickets. Only two season tickets from the same operator can be in the card at a time, and one of these must be activated. Tickets on travel cards must be activated before use – this can be done at a ticket machine, a serviced station or on board the train.
Where do I buy tickets on a travel payment card? You can buy tickets on a travel card at serviced stations or at a ticket machine.
How do I top up my travel payment card? You can top up your travel card at Ruter’s serviced service points. You can then use the travel card to buy tickets.
