Flex lets you change your departure time as often as you like. With Flex Refundable, you get your money back if you cancel your journey for any reason prior to departure.

Terms and conditions for Flex tickets

  • Flex allows you to choose your seat and change your time of departure until your original scheduled departure. You cannot change the route of travel.
  • When choosing a departure that costs more than your original ticket, you will be charged the price difference. When a journey involves a change, you can change your departure time at any point prior to your first departure.
  • Any bookings or changes made our Customer Service will incur a service fee.
  • Flex tickets can be upgraded to Plus or Sleeper, but not changed to Lowprice or upgraded to Flex Refundable. When choosing a departure that costs more than your original ticket, you will be charged the price difference. When choosing a departure that costs less than your original ticket, you will not get a refund for the price difference.
  • Flex tickets cannot be combined with any other discounts such as student or senior citizen rates. Children 0–5 years old travel with Flex free of charge.
  • Dogs and/or bicycles will incur additional cost. Wheelchairs and strollers are carried free of charge.
  • A four-hour cancellation period applies from the time of purchase if you buy your ticket on vy.no, in the app or from a ticket machine, provided the ticket is cancelled prior the time of departure.

  • The ticket is refundable, meaning you will get your money back if you cancel your journey for any reason prior to departure.
  • Any bookings or changes made by our Customer Service will incur a service fee.
  • Flex Refundable allows you to choose your seat and change your time of departure until your original scheduled departure. You cannot change the route of travel.
  • When choosing a departure that costs more than your original ticket, you will be charged the price difference. When a journey involves a change, you can change your departure time at any point prior to your first departure.
  • Flex Refundable may be upgraded to Plus Refundable or Sleeper Refundable. When choosing a departure that costs more than your original ticket, you will be charged the price difference.
  • It is not possible to change the passenger category after purchase (eg from adult to child). If you want such a change, you must cancel the ticket first and then buy a new one.
  • The following discounts apply to Flex Refundable tickets:
    • Children (0–5 years old): Free
    • Children (6–17 years old): 75 per cent
    • Senior: 50 per cent
    • Student: 50 per cent
    • Military conscript: 90 per cent
    • Customer card: 20 per cent
  • Dogs and/or bicycles will incur additional cost. Wheelchairs and strollers are carried free of charge.
