Finse Forsikring AS is the insurance captive of the Vy Group.

Finse Forsikring AS was established 8 November, 2001 and has been in business since 1 December, 2001. The company is domiciled in Oslo, Norway and is authorised by The Financial Supervisory authority of Norway for all non-life insurance lines except credit insurance. Finse Forsikring AS operates as a reinsurance captive, but is authorised to also operate as a direct insurer.

The Vy Group

The Vy Group (The NSB Group until April 2019) is a Nordic transportation group. Vy has three operational business areas in Norway and Sweden: Rail passenger services, bus services and freight transport.

The Norwegian railway infrastructure is owned, maintained and developed by Bane NOR SF.

Net operating income for the Vy Group in 2024 amounted to NOK 19,4 billion.
